At the Safe Ireland Summit 2016 we created a unique space in the Mansion House: a stage from which speakers, thinkers, advocates, activists, and artists could speak and share ideas. All of this was moving in a shared direction: creating a safer world for women and children. Safe World Summit 2018 will allow the space for this magic to continue, where the sum of our parts can ignite and inspire solutions to free us all from the limitations of current systems and beliefs in order to realise our collective desire for a safe world.
Be the change
Throughout the Safe Ireland Summit 2016 personal stories were shared with purpose and professional experiences were explained. Commitments were made to take what was learned during the summit out into the world and to challenge a culture that facilitates domestic violence. The Safe World Summit 2018 will inspire and transform the lives of those in attendance.
Solving our biggest challenge
It will provide a platform for dynamic audience engagement to help solve one of the biggest challenges facing our global economy and sustainable development – the extent and impact of violence against women and children.
Whole New World View
Safe World Summit 2018 is a unique leadership and personal development event which is set to inspire and transform the lives of those in attendance and well beyond. It will inform, resonate and effect real change through leadership, and from it will grow understanding and a movement for a ‘Whole New World View’.
It is possible for the world to be safe again, but to achieve this we have to work together to understand ways to heal, to build resilience and to restore the balance of equality.
Free to speak
In a world where mainstream platforms for social discussion are often censored, or access restricted, it is as important to create our own spaces. Now, and in the future.
