Lynn was appointed in 2009 by President Obama and Vice President Biden as the first ever special advisor to the White House on violence against women, Lynn co-chaired the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault and represented US Vice President Biden on the White House Council on Women and Girls.
