
Appointed in 2009 by President Obama and Vice President Biden as the first ever special advisor to the White House on violence against women, Lynn co-chaired the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault and represented US Vice President Biden on the White House Council on Women and Girls. She will speak about her activism in domestic violence and her passions including gender-related policies, leadership development, mentoring young leaders, and ending violence against women. In particular she will share her journey from grassroots activist to the White House and the lessons she learned along the way.
