Eileen Flynn, a Traveller activist and community development worker, has been been actively engaged in community work from a young age. She has experienced inequality of access and opportunity throughout her life and has come through by learning that education is the key to success and change.
Her overall goal is to educate herself to master’s level and obtain a specialty in the area of gender inequality. Her long term goal as a Traveller woman is to challenge the inequalities in Irish society for all communities that suffer marginalisation.
