Clíona is an activist and thinker on sexual violence and has worked in the field since graduating with a PhD in International Politics from the Aberystwyth School in Wales. She has a track record of creating spaces for change by identifying and connecting realities and conceptualizing the structural dynamics and persistence of rape culture. She is a gifted short story writer and is currently the Executive Director of the Rape Crisis Network Ireland (RCNI).
