Cindy Southworth, is the Executive Vice President at the U.S. National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV). In 2002 she founded the Safety Net Technology Project where she works with technology companies, policy makers, and practitioners to address the benefits & risks of technology for victims and survivors of abuse in this digital age. Ms. Southworth has worked closely with over 30 corporate leaders including 3M, Airbnb, Avon, Facebook, Google, and Verizon. She serves on Airbnb’s and Uber’s Trust Advisory Boards, and the advisory boards of MTV’s A THIN LINE digital abuse campaign, and Computers Freedom and Privacy/Privacy Activism. In addition the Safety Net Technology Project serves on the Safety/Trust Advisory Boards of Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
