Ethos/Main Aims of Organisation:

To empower women and children of all cultures and backgrounds to live their lives free of abuse. We deliver safe, inclusive, client centred services both at the refuge and in the community. Through our work, we enable greater independence and autonomy for the women and children we work with, creating space & safety for them to make informed choices.

Refuge facilities comprise of 7 self contained refuge units with kitchen/living space, bedroom & bathroom, each accommodating a woman and up to four children. The laundry, childcare and social areas in the refuge are communal.

• Support and information (drop-in or appointment based)
• Safety Planning
• Group Support Programmes – for women who are or have experienced domestic abuse
• One to one & group support for children affected by domestic abuse
• Parenting Support
• Court support and accompaniment service
• Community based Outreach service – information, support & advocacy
• Crisis counselling service
• Play/Art therapy
• StartSafe Programme for adolescent groups and post primary schools
