Ethos/Main Aims of Organisation:
COPE Galway Domestic Abuse Service works to support women who are in or who have been in an abusive relationship. We support women and their children in dealing with the aftermath of abuse and rebuilding their lives.
We provide refuge space for women and children in self-contained apartments, as well as offering outreach support to women throughout the city and county of Galway. Our Children’s Service, Solas Og, works with children directly, as well as with mothers, on a one-to-one and group basis. We provide training and workshops on domestic abuse and healthy relationships.

Main Aim of Organisation: To identify and respond to the needs of women and children impacted by domestic abuse in Galway City and County and to develop long term responses to eliminate domestic abuse in our society.

Advocacy and Accompaniment to a Range of Services including Court Accompaniment.

Educational Programmes for Women including Paths To Freedom, Parenting in the Aftermath of Domestic abuse, Exploring Healthy Relationships, Mothering, Estrangement and Loss workshops.
