Information Resources

SAFE Ireland has developed a suite of information materials to profile the supports that are available to women and their children who are experiencing domestic violence. These materials are designed for victims, supporters, family and friends and a range of professionals.

These materials along with our publications are available from the SAFE Ireland. Email info@safeireland.ie or phone 0906 479078 to request what you need.

National Wallet Card ‘Important Information for Women’

These cards have been designed to be discreet and to provide users with details of domestic and sexual violence services across Ireland. They have been designed in attractive display boxes which will sit neatly on any counter, desk, display tables etc.

The cards are also of use to Professionals and fit neatly in wallets for ease of reference, particularly when away from the desk on callouts or outreach visits.

Information Leaflet for Professionals

These leaflets have been designed for Professionals. They fold out into an easy reference poster for an office notice board etc, so that a variety of professionals have easy access to the details of domestic violence services across Ireland

Are you living in Ireland? Then this app is for you. You never know when you might need to support a friend or family member who is in an abusive relationship. Friends and family are the first source of support for women in abusive relationships. Often people don’t know what to do or where to get supports.

This app is also useful for legal, health or social services professionals. Different professionals can play an important role when they know how to recognise, respond and refer domestic violence victims.

There are over 40 domestic violence specialist support services for women in Ireland including refuges. These are free and confidential services and work with victims of domestic violence to respond to their safety, practical, emotional and child related needs.

The features of this app include:

  • Easy to use menu and click through to contact details for all the domestic violence services in Ireland
  • Important Information for women in abusive relationships
  • Information on how you might recognise the signs of domestic abuse
  • Ways to respond and support victims of domestic violence and lots more

SAFE Ireland are grateful to COSC for funding assistance to develop and distribute the information materials above.
