Annual National Statistics
SAFE Ireland has developed a rigorous process for collecting high level data relating to the number of women and children accessing our members services.
The main purpose of this data collection is to contribute to a national picture of the extent of domestic violence as well as an annual indication of demand for services.
It is important to note that the annual statistics are not an indicator of the level of service provided as services are delivered based on need and this can vary considerably from woman to woman and child to child.
In addition to the annual statistics, SAFE Ireland also carries out a National One Day Census of domestic violence services. Click here for details >>
